At FIND, we are devoted to empowering Women and Youth through an investment in human capital. By merging the wisdom of women with the energy of youth through a digital-first lens, we create a self-sustaining ecosystem that transforms ‘potential’ into ‘prosperity’ at a community-wide scale. Our approach is hands-on and tailored to meet the unique needs of women and youth in Somalia’s evolving landscape.
Our Purpose
- To build a self-sustaining cycle of mentorship, where the wisdom of experienced women and the technological agility of the youth are traded as currency, strengthening the social fabric of the entire community.
- To offer mental health support, legal advocacy, and childcare services so that personal trauma or domestic burdens do not stall professional progress.
- To move women and youth from subsistence to sustainability by provide the necessary for participants to start businesses or secure high-quality employment.
- To ensure no woman or child is left behind.
Here’s how we do it:
- Leadership Development:
- We cultivate future leaders with programs designed to enhance their capacity for effective governance. Our training includes soft skills like communication and negotiation, which are vital for successful leadership.
- Interactive Workshops and Seminars:
- We host engaging sessions focused on key topics like Women and youth issues and how they can improve and make it roll in the leadership. These workshops encourage active participation, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborative Partnerships:
- We work with local and international organizations of women and youth to enhance And improve their role of a sustainable community and a peace building in Somalia. By building a network of support, we create opportunities for participants to connect and learn from each other.
