Who We Are
Founded in 2025 by young Somali environmental and marine science professionals, Blue Horn Initiative began as a marine-focused effort and grew into a platform connecting academia, government, civil society, and communities across Somalia's environmental sector — because droughts, coastal erosion, plastic pollution, and food insecurity are all connected.
