“Dialogue for Development, Action for Impact”

A platform for dialogue and exchange, FOCUS plus+ Forum encourages inclusive discussions among government officials, civil society, academia, and the private sector to shape policies, share ideas, and promote peace, democracy, and development.

Purpose
  • Promote Dialogue: The forum serves as a platform for open discussions on pressing national issues, encouraging diverse perspectives and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: It provides an opportunity for participants to share insights, experiences, and best practices related to governance, development, and public policy.
Structure
  • Regular Meetings: The forum convenes regularly, bringing together representatives from government, civil society, academia, and the private sector.
  • Thematic Focus: Each session addresses specific themes relevant to Somalia’s development, such as economic growth, social cohesion, and governance reforms.
  • Guest Speakers: Experts and thought leaders are invited to share their knowledge, sparking discussions and providing valuable insights.

The FOCUS Plus + Forum FIND’s flagship program. This interactive platform unites policymakers, practitioners, business leaders, civil society, academia, and activists from across Somalia, the Horn of Africa, and the Somali diaspora. The Fplus+F facilitate dialogue, sharing of insights, and collaborative solution development. It has become a cornerstone for advancing policy deliberations and democratic engagement in the region.
